Why should you use oil for your beard and face?

Beard Oil isn’t just for the beard it self. Think of it as a manly moisturizer for your face. The combination of Grapeseed, Apricot and Vitamin E oil are all-natural oils that by themselves have been used for health care products for years, then we combine Hempseed and Jojoba oil to really treat the hair and skin. Beard oil is useful for fighting the itch of growing a beard (caused by dry irritated skin) dandruff, in-grown hairs, dry and brittle hair follicles. It’s a conditioner for the hair that replaces the natural oils and traps in moisture, making the hair healthier, shinier and softer. Using natural oils can help with dry problem areas on your skin, elbows, knees, hands and feet too! Your skin absorbs the nutrients and you are left with a healthier, softer skin with no greasy or oily residue.

Any all natural oil, used in moderation, can be fantastic, but not all oils are designed for hair. Argan oil though touted as a miracle oil for your skin, can’t penetrate your hair cuticle, so it actually just sits on top of your hair. Over time, with use of just that your hair will dry out and become more brittle. Jojoba is the biggest buzz word in “natural” oils, but it too cannot be absorbed by the hair and has a tendency to dry out rather than trapping moisture in. This is why every good beard oil out there is a blend of many kinds of oil, not to trick the customer or make them spend a lot of money on something. Try out GoodBeards, or any other company for that matter, you will love the aroma and I know your manly mane will thank you in the long run.
